to Reset Your Forgotten Windows Login Password

Steps:
1.
Access
the Login Screen:

On
your Windows 10 or 11 computer, navigate to the login screen. If
you’re already at the password prompt, simply click “I forgot
my password” located beneath password input box.
2.
Enter
Your Microsoft Account Email:

After
clicking the “I forgot my password” option, you’ll be
asked to enter your Microsoft account email address. This is the email
you use to sign in to your computer and other Microsoft services. Type
it in and hit Enter.
3.
Verify
Your Identity:

Microsoft
need to confirm it’s really you. You can choose to get a security
code sent to you via:

Email (sent to your recovery email address) or
·
SMS (sent to a phone number linked to your Microsoft account)
4.
Retrieve
and Enter the Code:

Once
you receive the code through your chosen method, enter it in the provided field
on the recovery screen. This code is time-sensitive, so
make sure to enter it properly.
5.
Create
a New Password:

After
successfully verifying your identity, you’ll be directed to a
page where you can Create a new password. Choose a password that is
secure and easy to remember. Follow any specific requirements (e.g.,
Length, Character, Combinations) that Microsoft provides.
6.
Complete
the Process:
· Once you’ve entered your new password, click Next or Finish to complete the process. You should now be able to sign in to your computer with your new password.
