How to Reset Your Forgotten Microsoft Account Password

·      Steps:

 

1.  Click “Forget Password?”:

·      If the Enter password window is still open, click Forget password?

·      If not, go to the password reset page and enter account’s username, then click Next.

 

         

 

2.  Verify Your Identify:

·      Microsoft will ask you to verify your identity for security purposes.

·      Choose how you’d like to receive a verification code (via email or phone).

 

              

 

·      If you can’t see any options or no longest have access to them, use the sign-in helper tool for assistance.

 

3.  Get the Verification Code:

·      Microsoft will send a code to you selected email or phone number.

·      Check your recovery email or phone for the verification code.

              

 

4.  Enter the Code and Reset Your Password:

·      Type or paste the code your received and click Next.

·      Create a new, strong password and click Next to complete the reset.
