How to Keep Your macOS Up-to-Date and Secure

·     Steps:

 

1.  Open System Preferences:

·     Click the Apple menu in the top-left corner of your screen.

·     Select System Preferences from the dropdown.


         



2.  Go to Software Update:

·     In System Preferences, click on Software Update.

 

   

 

3.  Enable Automatic Updates:

·     Click the Advanced… button in the Software Update Window.

 

 

 

·     Check the boxes for:

ü Check for updates.

ü Download new updates when available.

ü Install macOS updates.

ü Install app updates from the App Store.

ü Install system date files and security updates.

 

·     Click OK to save changes.
