How to configure and Test Remote Desktop for Windows Server
• Example: Windows Server 2022
• Steps:
1. Add Additional Users for Remote Access:
• By default, only admins can connect. To add others, go to Select users that can remotely access this PC.
2. Add a User:
• Click Add, type the user’s name (e.g., robert.allen), and click OK.
3. Test the Connection:
• On your PC, open Remote Desktop Connection, type the server’s name (e.g., srv-vm1), and click Connect.
4. Log In:
• Enter your Username and Password to authenticate.
5. Verify the Connection:
• Once logged in, you’re connected remotely to your Window Server.
