Youβll see two options:

β’ Remove everything
Choose Keep my files to preserve your documents, pictures, and personal data.
βοΈ Step 5: Choose Reinstall Method
You may get two options:
β’ Cloud Download β Downloads fresh Windows files from Microsoft
β’ Local Reinstall β Uses files already on your PC
Choose the one you prefer.
π Step 6: Review What Will Happen
Windows will show:
β’ β Personal files will stay
β’ β Apps and programs will be removed
β’ βοΈ Settings will reset
Click Next
π Step 7: Start Reset
β’ Click Reset
β’ Your PC will restart several times
This may take 20 minutes to 1 hour depending on your system.
β Step 8: Set Up Windows Again
After reset:
β’ Sign in to your account
β’ Reinstall apps you need
β’ Check your files are still there

Even though files are kept, itβs smart to back up important data first to USB or cloud storage.
