How to Enable and Use Internet Sharing on macOS


·     Example: macOS

·     Steps:

 

1.  Open the System Settings:

·     Click the Apple logo in the top-left corner of your screen, then choose System Settings from the dropdown menu.

 

       

 

2.  Go to Sharing Settings:

·     On the left side, select General, then click Sharing.

 

              

 

3.  Enable Internet Sharing:

·     Under the Accessories & Internet section, find Internet Sharing and switch it ON.

 

               

 

4.  Confirm to Proceed:

·     A message will pop up asking for confirmation. Click Configure to move forward.

 

         

 

5.  Choose How to Share:

·     From the dropdown, choose your sharing method.

·      Wi-Fi

·      Ethernet

·      iPhone via USB

·      Thunderbolt Bridge

              

 

·     Set up device(s) you want to share your connection with.

 

6.  Turn on Sharing:

·     In the next screen, toggle the Internet Sharing switch at the top. A pop-up will ask again-click Turn On.

 

            

 

7.  Finish Setup:

·     Click Done. Youre all set!

 

              

 

Note: To make changes later First Turn Off internet sharing, then adjust your settings.
