How to Enable OpenSSH SSH Server on Windows

 

·     Example: Windows

·     Steps:

 

1. Open the Services App:

·     Click the Start Menu (the windows icon at the bottom-left corner).

·     Type Services in the search bar and click on the Services app that appears.

 

  

 

2.  Find OpenSSH SSH Server:

·     In the Services window, scroll down the list until you find OpenSSH SSH Server.

 

 

3.  Open Properties:

·     Right-click on OpenSSH SSH Server and choose Properties from the menu.

 

 

 

4.  Set it to Start Automatically:

·     In the Properties window, look for the Startup type dropdown menu.

·     Change it from “Manual” to Automatic. This ensures the services start by itself whenever your computer turns on.

 

  

 

 

5.  Start the Service:

·     Click the Start button in the Properties window to run the service immediately.

·     Then click OK to save your changes and close the window.
