o  Morden Windows versions (10 and 11) are designed to manage the registry efficiently without manual intervention.

o  Most registry errors reported by these tools are harmless.

 

·     Use Instead:

·     Let Windows manage the registry on its own-It automatically removes unused entries during normal operation.

·     If you suspect system issues, run
sfc /scannow

This uses System File Checker to repair corrupted or missing system files.

 

2.  PC Optimizer / Speed Booster Software:

·     Why they are Harmful:

These applications claim to make your computer faster by:

o Cleaning RAM.

o Disabling system services without explanation.

o Showing exaggerated problems to push premium upgrade.

 

·     In reality:

o  They rarely offer noticeable performance boosts.

o  Many are bundles with adware, unnecessary background services, or scareware tactics.

·     Settings System

 

              

 

·     Click Storage Turn on Storage Sense to clean temporary files.

o  Automatically install drivers that may not be designed for your hardware.
