How to Automatic Connect to a VPN at the Boot of mac
I will show you how to automatically connect to a VPN after you Boot the mac.
I am going to doing it for Sonic Wall Mobile connect, if you have other VPN than Sonic Wall Mobile connect then don’t worry, you can apply this settings on that VPN as well.
1. First you need to have a VPN already configure to an IP on Sonic Wall Mobile or the VPN that you have.
2. Click on Sonic Wall Mobile Connect VPN in the top menu bar and select Preferences.
3. From the General menu, check the box to Connect at Launch to have Sonic Wall Mobile connect run once you log in to your Mac. If you have other VPN, then check that there should be different option with same meaning.
4. On Sonic Wall Mobile connect select server you want to connect to.
5. Now go to the Apple icon on top left corner of your mac, then click on it and select System Preferences.
6. After in the system preferences, you can see Users and Groups option click on it.
7. After entering Users and Groups option, you should select the account on which you have to add VPN connection at Logon.
8. Then on the Login item option which you can see on the screen. There you will ‘+’ sign, so click on it and add the VPN which you want to Login at the boot of mac. In my case, I will select Sonic Wall Mobile connect.
9. Now it appears on the Login Items. So now just restart your mac and you will see that your VPN will automatic open after you Login in to the mac and connect to the server which you have selected.
Hope, you will get it. That’s how it’s done to make any VPN appear at
the Boot of mac and automatically connected.
