Customize Your Mac Login Experience with Auto-Open Items

 

·     Example :- MacOS (Ventura and Later and Old Version)

·     Steps:-

 

1.  Open System Preferences:

·     Click the Apple menu located in the top-left corner of your screen.

·     Select System Setting (on macOS Ventura and later).

 

                

 

·     System Preferences (on older version).

 

      

 

2.  Navigate to Login Items:

·     In the System Preferences window, click Users & Groups.

 

        

 

·     In the System Setting window, click General in the left sidebar.              

·     Scroll down and click Login Item & Extensions.

 

 

3.  Add Item to Open Automatically:

·     Under the Open at login section, Click the + (Add) button below the list of login items.

 

       

 

·     A file browser will appear. Use it to locate the app, folder, or server you want to set to open automatically.

 

 

·     Select the Item and click open.

 

     

 

4.  Add Items to Open Automatically: (on older version)

·     In the System Preferences window, click Users & Groups.

             

 

·     Under the Open at Users & Groups, Click the + (Add) button below the list of login items.

   

 

 

·     A file browser will appear. Use it to locate the app, folder, or server you want to set to open automatically.

       

 

·     Select the Item and click Add.
